Cities & Towns We Work In Most
We serve hundreds of communities across NJ. Here are some of the towns where we're most active. Click a location to learn more.
Saddle Brook — Our Home Base
Saddle Brook is where we started in 2012 and where our headquarters still is today. We know the housing stock in Bergen County as well as anyone — the postwar capes, the split-levels from the '60s and '70s, and the newer construction going up on infill lots. Every style comes with its own chimney challenges, and we've worked on all of them.
Bergen County homes deal with heavy freeze-thaw cycles and dense tree cover that drops debris onto chimneys and roofs year-round. If you're in Saddle Brook, Hackensack, Paramus, Ridgewood, or anywhere in Bergen County, we're practically in your backyard. See our full list of services.
Cherry Hill — Camden County
Cherry Hill has some of the most distinctive residential architecture in South Jersey — mid-century ranches, large colonials from the '80s and '90s, and everything in between. Many of these homes have original chimneys that are now 30 to 50 years old, right in the window where mortar deterioration and crown damage start showing up.
We handle chimney repairs, rebuilds, and roofing work throughout Cherry Hill and Camden County. Same-day assessments, on-the-spot pricing — no different from a job down the street from our shop.
Freehold — Monmouth County
Freehold and the surrounding Monmouth County towns get hit from both directions — cold winters from the north and coastal moisture from the east. That combination is brutal on chimneys. Salt air accelerates mortar erosion, and the freeze-thaw cycle finishes the job. We see a lot of chimneys in this area that look fine from the street but have serious issues up close.
Homes in the borough range from historic properties to newer developments in Freehold Township. If you're in Freehold, Marlboro, Colts Neck, or nearby towns, we're in your area regularly. Read our maintenance guide for tips on keeping your chimney healthy between inspections.
Woodbridge — Middlesex County
Woodbridge Township is one of the largest municipalities in NJ, with a huge variety of housing — from Avenel and Iselin to Colonia and Sewaren. Many neighborhoods were built in the postwar era, meaning chimneys are original and aging. We see a lot of cracked clay tile liners and brickwork that's been eroding quietly for years.
Middlesex County is in our core service area. We handle everything from flue repairs to new liner installations for homeowners throughout the township and surrounding communities like Edison, Perth Amboy, and Piscataway.
Somerville — Somerset County
Somerset County has a mix of older homes in the borough centers and larger properties in the surrounding hills. Somerville, Bridgewater, Basking Ridge, and Warren Township all have significant housing stock with chimneys that need periodic attention — especially homes built before 1980 with original clay tile liners.
The terrain in Somerset County means a lot of homes sit on hills and ridgelines where wind exposure accelerates chimney damage. We see more crown failures and wind-driven rain damage here than in flatter parts of the state. Chimney repair and roofing work are our most common calls in this area.
New Brunswick — Middlesex County
New Brunswick and the surrounding communities — Highland Park, East Brunswick, North Brunswick — have a wide range of housing from Victorian-era homes near downtown to suburban developments built through the '60s, '70s, and '80s. The older homes often have unlined chimneys or original clay liners that have cracked from decades of use.
If your HVAC technician has flagged your chimney flue, or if you've converted from oil to gas heat and never updated the liner, a new lining system is likely overdue. We serve the entire New Brunswick area with the same pricing and standards we bring to every job.
Flemington — Hunterdon County
Hunterdon County is one of the more rural parts of our service area, and the housing reflects it — farmhouses, older stone and brick colonials, and newer construction on larger lots. Many of these homes have oversized chimneys that were originally built for wood-burning fireplaces and have since been connected to modern gas or oil heating systems.
That mismatch between old chimney and new appliance is one of the most common problems we fix. The flue is too large for the new system, condensation builds up, and the liner deteriorates from the inside. If you're in Flemington, Clinton, Lambertville, or anywhere in Hunterdon, we can assess it and give you a straight answer on what's needed.
Holmdel — Monmouth County
Holmdel is one of the more affluent communities in Monmouth County, with large homes that often have multiple chimneys — one for the fireplace, one for the furnace, sometimes a third for a secondary heating zone. More chimneys means more maintenance, and the coastal influence in this part of NJ adds extra stress to the masonry.
We work on multi-chimney homes regularly and can assess all of them in a single visit. Whether it's a rebuild on one and a repair on another, we coordinate it into one project so you're not dealing with multiple visits and multiple invoices.
Manalapan — Monmouth County
Manalapan Township has a lot of homes built in the '80s and '90s — the era when builders started using prefabricated fireplace systems alongside traditional masonry chimneys. Both types need maintenance, but they need different kinds of maintenance. Prefab systems have metal fireboxes and flue pipes that corrode over time, while masonry chimneys have the usual mortar and brick issues.
We handle both. If you're not sure what type of chimney your Manalapan home has, our inspection will sort that out quickly. We also serve nearby Marlboro, Englishtown, and Old Bridge — all part of our regular Monmouth/Middlesex route.
Hillsborough — Somerset County
Hillsborough Township has grown significantly over the last few decades, with large developments built from the '90s through the 2010s. These newer homes have chimneys that are approaching their first major maintenance window — 20 to 30 years is when crown cracking, mortar erosion, and flashing failure typically start to appear.
Catching these issues early is the difference between a repair and a rebuild. If your Hillsborough home was built in the '90s and the chimney has never been inspected beyond a basic sweep, now is the time. We also serve neighboring Branchburg, Raritan, and Manville. Check our blog for more on when your chimney needs its first serious checkup.
Monroe Township — Middlesex County
Monroe Township has a unique mix — active adult communities alongside traditional residential neighborhoods. The 55+ communities often have homes with gas fireplaces and direct-vent systems that still rely on a chimney flue for the furnace or water heater. These flues need the same care as any other, and they're often overlooked because the homeowner doesn't think of themselves as having a "chimney."
In the traditional neighborhoods, Monroe has homes from every era — '60s ranches, '80s colonials, and newer construction. Whatever your home's age, the chimney has a maintenance timeline. We serve all of Monroe Township and nearby Jamesburg, Cranbury, and East Windsor with the same full range of services.
